Ocho Semillas, formerly Central Valley Mutual Aid

We are a grassroots collective building resilience and power in our beloved Central Valley. We formed in March 2020 to address the emerging needs of our most vulnerable local community members. We represent the eight San Joaquin Valley counties and many of us are from organizations that work with low-income communities, undocumented individuals and families, workers, LGBTQ+, and communities of color.

We center displaced Black, brown, indigenous, disabled, migrant, and LGBTQ+ in our efforts and the unincorporated areas of the San Joaquin Valley through an intentional and intergenerational approach.

Now, more than ever before, we need to come together to support one-another, and especially those of us for whom no other help may be coming! The Central Valley Mutual Aid Relief Fund provides economic relief to undocumented individuals and mixed status families across the San Joaquin Valley during the COVID-19 public health crisis.
